Kentucky wins one and loses one, dropping Adolph Rupp to .733, still enough to keep him in first place ahead of Hank Iba.  Rupp becomes the first to coach in thirty games this year.
Utah's national fourth place finish gives Jack Gardner two more wins and two more losses to give him a .500 record in twenty games.  Gardner, who has been to the Final Four three times now and led Kansas State to a national second place finish in 1951, joins Rupp and Iba here here on the big list.
